This content needs to be generated by August 22nd, 2016.
Most of the finalists will be selected by Twitch and its affiliates, though four of the twenty slots will be open to a community vote that will run from August 26-29. The twenty finalists will be given $1,500 each to travel to TwitchCon 2016. There they will get the opportunity to show off their creations, while being judged by popular cosplayers such as Yaya Han and Commander Holly, streaming personality GiantWaffle, as well as other individuals yet to be announced.
There will be four categories of the competition – Needlework, Armor, FX, and Larger than Life, with an overall winner being chosen as well. Winners will be announced after the finalists get to show off on October 1st on the Kappa Stage at Twitchcon 2016.
