The court of locale judge Pankaj Kumar Agrawal, on Thursday, granted the death penalty to four individuals, including the mother and father of the young lady who was killed alongside her sweetheart, in May 2017, in Wazirganj area of Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun.

The guardians of 19-year-old, Asha, supported by two family members, had supposedly hacked their little girl and her sweetheart, 23-year-old Govind Kumar, to death with a hatchet after they absconded before that month.

Asha’s dad had allegedly gotten back to the team home on the guise of fixing their marriage. All things being equal, when the two showed up, they were attached with a rope and hacked out to death.

Locale government counsel Anil Singh Rathore told correspondents, “Asha and Govind were killed by the previous’ mom Jaldhara, father Kishan Lal, alongside family members Vijay Buddy and Smash Go on May 14, 2017. He added, “The court called it a ‘inhumane homicide’ and based on the proof and the declaration of observers, articulated the death penalty for all the four blamed.

Extra locale government counsel Atul Kumar Singh added, “This is an exceptionally interesting judgment as even the young lady’s mom has been given a particularly cruel sentence for showing outrageous fierceness.”
